Netflix has landed a new stop-motion animated movie called âWendell and Wildâ, starring Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key from âKey and Peeleâ. Of course, Jordan also did âGet Outâ.
In the movie, Key and Peele voice two demon brothers as they are âforced to face-off against their arch-enemy in order to earn their way out of hell.â
Animator Henry Selick is also behind it. Heâs the guy who did âThe Nightmare Before Christmasâ and âCoralineâ.
Itâs too early to say when it might hit Netflix.

Netflix has decided NOT to give out virtual âpatchesâ for kids based on how much TV they watch. It wouldnât be surprising if the negative public reaction killed it. But in their announcement yesterday, they really tried to downplay that.
They said, âWeâve concluded the test for patches and have decided not to move forward with the feature for kids. We test lots of things at Netflix in order to learn what works well, and what doesnât work well, for our members.â
Netflix had actually been testing the patches on a small subset of viewers for a few weeks before the idea became public. They didnât say how those tests went, or why they abandoned the idea. (Variety)
